Connect any API to your workflows

Trame now supports Custom APIs, letting you bring any HTTP endpoint directly into your
automated workflows.

Not every service has a native connector. Custom APIs solve this by allowing you to define
any REST endpoint and make it available to your workflows. Once configured, AI agents can
discover and call your custom endpoints just like built-in integrations.

Setting up a Custom API takes seconds:

  • Name and describe your endpoint so the AI knows when to use it

  • Specify the URL and HTTP method (GET or POST)

  • Add optional authentication with your API key

  • Define a body schema so the AI knows exactly what parameters to send

From there, your custom endpoints become first-class tools. Workflows can call internal
services, legacy systems, or niche APIs that would otherwise require custom development.

Key benefits:

  • Zero wait time for new integrations

  • Full control over authentication and request structure

  • Seamless discovery by AI agents during execution

  • Works alongside all existing Composio connectors

Custom APIs are available now in the Connectors tab for all organizations. Define your
endpoints once, use them across any workflow.
